What are your qualifications?
I am a member of NCLHIA (North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector
Association) and have
been licensed by the State of NC since 1997.
What do you look at?
We inspect the major systems of the house. These include the Roof,
Exterior, Structure, Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Insulation
and Interior. Our goal is to identify any existing major problems that
would affect a typical purchaser's buying decision.
If the results are negative, will you tell us not
to buy the house?
Our inspectors' goal is to report fairly on the condition of the house
indicating potential repairs and expenses. Ultimately, it is your
decision as to whether or not you buy the house. Only you know what you
are prepared to take on.
Can I follow along?
We encourage you to attend. This is a valuable learning experience for
most homebuyers.
How long does an inspection take?
A typical home inspection takes between 2 and 3 hours. Some older and
/or larger homes can take longer.
What are your fees?
Please call or email for a quote.
Do you have liability insurance?
I carry Errors and Omissions Insurance that also covers any referring
agents. Policy information available upon request.
Do you provide a written report?
Yes. Our report is ready for you within 24 hours of the inspection
itself. No delay. The comprehensive reporting system we have developed,
is essential in assisting our clients in their decision to purchase. It
includes a comprehensive summary of the condition of the home.
How many days notice do I need to give you?
Our team is ready to service you quickly; usually an inspection can be
scheduled within a matter of days.
